Machine Operator - Vacuum Forming

Skills Required:
• Good verbal and written communication skills,
• Reliable
• Flexible to work shifts
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Open to learning

Responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring the Vacuum Formers run as efficiently as possible with minimal downtime.
• Keeping machine fed with roll stock using pneumatic roll loader
• Ensuring formed parts meet set quality standards.
• Die cutting / knife cutting / stacking parts as they come off the machine,
• Packaging / oversee packaging, making sure that parts are handled, stacked and counted properly and accurately.
• Performing Machine maintenance, which include cleaning, oiling, greasing, draining airline water traps as necessary.
• Assisting with mold installations, Vacuum Former preparation.
• Removing /replacing recyclable scrap material containers
• Performing daily housekeeping duties, which include keeping work area clean and organized, and emptying garbage containers at the end of each shift.

Physical Demands
• Moving 150 lb. roll-stock
• Standing for duration of shift (static for short periods of time)
• Dexterity
• Reaching
• Lifting (max. 50 lbs.)
• Bending
